POR-15 Treatment

NOTE: Let me just say that POR-15 is the most amazing rust preventative paint that I've ever used! This page is still under construction. I will be updating it with detailed steps in the near future.


As I had suggested in the Front End Project section, the original owner had welded a few "extra" sets of shock mounts onto the Jeep's frame. Once the front end had been torn down, each of these had to be removed using an angle grinder.

Spray it with "Metal Ready"


... then paint it with POR-15 to prevent rust!
